Inaugural Post
Welcome to the first post for the Willowbrook Park blog.
As of February 2009, Willowbrook Park became a wholly owned subsidiary of Lord Cowell Holdings Ltd. Willowbrook Park is 30 acres of meadow situated 5 Km from the centre of Hamilton, New Zealand. Over the coming years this land will be developed into a boutique luxury country hotel, set in parkland in the style of the English Landscape gardens of the 18th century, the focus being a Georgian styled country house.
The park will also be a source of organic goods and gifts (e.g. jams, chutneys, relishes, herbs, perfumes, candles and lotions) and a small tree nursery. This wide variety of exclusive items will be sold under the Willowbrook Park brand.
This blog will chronicle the progress and development of the park, house and brand, as well as the exploits of your hosts. It will also showcase and link to a wide range of talent from other blogs about Home, Gardening, Architecture, Decoration and Lifestyle. Please return regularly to see what we have been up to.
Your Hosts,
Peter and David Lord Cowell.
